How can I check my rate?

To get a general rate, take the fees charged divided by your volume and that will give you a general rate of what you are paying. And if your general rate is more than 3-4%, then you are paying way to much money. Please contact us more for a free evaluation of your statement.

What is interchange?

Interchange is the credit card processing term for a schedule of fees that is set by Visa® and MasterCard® stakeholders (primarily banks), charged to the processor, paid to the card-issuing banks and passed along to merchants on their monthly merchant account statement. It is the underlying basis from which all credit card processing charges are determined.

Interchange is generally calculated as a percentage of each gross sale amount plus a dollar amount; for example, 1.55% + $0.04. Visa and MasterCard announce their interchange rates every April and October, and they post them on their websites where they are readily available for businesses to review.
